You’re at the starting gate of a wonderful journey. But this journey is unlike any you’ve taken before. You have no idea where you are going. You aren’t sure how you are going to get there and have no idea how to pack or what to take to be prepared. Your Guide for this journey is intentionally very vague and most of the people you talk to about the journey can’t relate to you at all.
So, you’re excited and ready to get started, right? I completely understand if there is some hesitancy. Sure, there is some excitement. After all, the Creator of the Universe spoke to you. You understood what He required of you and you responded. But the “what comes next” part seems pretty fuzzy, right? Then rest assured, you aren’t alone.
What you have experienced isn’t weird or abnormal. In fact, it is very common and is how God operates in the lives of many He calls to ministry leadership.
